Due to unforeseen circumstances I now have an18 week old bitch puppy, which I had hoped to keep, but I now need a really nice home for her.
Hessie is black and tan, has a lovely head, correct bite, good eyes, plenty of bone and a very busy nature. Enjoys gardening!

27th January 2017. Lennox Annie Roborovski at Marksbury has had a litter of 13 (4 Dogs and 9 Bitches all Black and Tan) by Ch Marksbury Ruin on 21st January 2017. Pictures in Photo Gallery.
Ch Marksbury Ruin was Top Sire 2015/16.

4th February 2016; Ch Maplemead Melodeon from Marksbury has a litter of Dogs and Bitches, Black/Tan and Liver/Tan.

Champion Marksbury Ruin is top Sire for 2015 and 5th top Sire in the Hound Group. Congratulations to all his children who made this possible, especially to Lorraine Priestley's Champion Railside Pluto who is the top show Bloodhound 2015.

1st April 2014 Marksbury Kennel is delighted to announce that Ch Maplemead Melodeon from Marksbury (Rhubarb) delivered 10 puppies (5 dogs and 5 bitches) and Marksbury Rapture (Crumble) delivered 8 puppies (4 dogs and 4 bitches).
Both litters were sired by Flushtimes Tor the Shepherd at Marksbury (Swedish Import) (Toby).
Both bitches and puppies are doing well.

The Marksbury Kennel is delighted to have been awarded the Top Breeder (DW) for the 10th year running.

Ch Maplemead Melodeon from Marksbury was the top show Bloodhound for the year.

Ch Marksbury Scribble was top stud.

Sue Emrys-Jones founded the Marksbury Kennel back in the early 1970's with Basset hounds and shortly after with Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds.
In 1979 a red wire bitch became the first Marksbury champion. Ch Marksbury Featherlight.
In 1985 she bought in her first Bloodhound from one of the top kennels , Abingerwood Wild Garland who became the first Bloodhound champion for the Marksbury Kennel.
By 2013 Marksbury Kennel had owned and or bred 27 Champions home and abroad and upwards of 130 Challenge Certificates.
A highlight being Ch. Marksbury Wistful winning the Hound Group at Crufts 2007.
